   BrochureRuddington has 2 attractions - The Framework Knitters`museum and the Heritage Centre.
The Knitters` museum presents life in a Victorian knitting community. The cottages have been restored to 1850 and 1900 with communal pump, wash-house, privy and pigsty. Also visit the Primitive Methodist Chapel where the knitters worshipped.

The other attraction is a Country Park which also contains the Transport Heritage centre.

There is a good children`s playground and refreshments are available at the kiosk and Heritage Centre .

Take the A60 Loughborough road out of Nottinghamand and follow signs to Ruddington. The Knitters` museum is in the village. The Country Park is further down the A60. Turn right at a small roundabout.
