Holme
Pierrepont is the National Water Sports Centre. It is a great spot for a
walk along the river edge watching the slalom course activity. Also
visit the Trent locks at the bottom of the slalom course.
There is :- Sailing Windsurfing Canoeing Waterskiing Powerboat handling Rowing White water rafting on the famous
Slalom course
Angling Care is needed if you intend to do anything in the water. There are bugs
in the river which will upset your tummy. Take the A6011 out of Nottingham and turn left down Regatta Road at
traffic lights. The centre is well sign posted.

This hall is an example of an early Tudor manor house. It is the
family home of Mr & Mrs Brackenbury.
Holme Pierrepont Hall is 3 miles from Trent Bridge , off the A52/A6011
Nottingham to Grantham road. Turn off the A52 at the edge of West
Bridgford, pass the National Water Sports Centre, and follow signs to
the hall. See map opposite.
