Gunthorpe is worth exploring for the locks and river walks. There is also the Unicorn Hotel in a pleasant location.
You will find Gunthorpe out to the East of Nottingham. Take either the A52 or A612 and hit the A6097. Gunthorpe is on the river at the bridge across the Trent.
