The cotgrave golf club sports two full size courses, a driving range and putting green. The club house has a bar and restaurant.

For directions click on  
Play a round by all means, but if not that serious just bring some clubs and for £2 you can use the driving range. Visit the 19th hole afterwards for a quick drink or stay to enjoy a meal overlooking the course.
Down the road on the way to Cotgrave there is a canal walk which is ideal for stretching the legs after that meal. Look for the car park on the right alongside the canal. Walk on either side of the road, and look out for the Kingfisher and heron which are  regular here.
Carry on to Cotgrave and have lunch or tea at the little tearoom next to the Costcutter Supermarket.
