Colwick
Country Park is a delightful area for walking with or without the dog.
There are 250 acres of woodland formed from a former gravel pit. Walk around the lakes.
See the weir on the Trent.
Walk past the marina.
Fish.
Water sports.
The area is adjacent to the Park and Ride and the Race Course.
Take the A612 out of Nottingham and at a mini roundabout turn right down the side of the race course and along the river Trent. Park in large car park amongst trees.
