        Attenborough visitor centre

Attenborough reserve is worth exploring on foot. There are several alternative routes. Pick up a map for 10p at the visitor centre. There are many birds to see most times of the year.

At the far end of the reserve towards Beeston there is a cafe,  marina and chandler selling ice cream.

There is usually boat activity on the Trent which runs along one side of the reserve.

Attenborough is to the west of Nottingham, south of Beeston. Take the A6005 out of town through Beeston. Follow signs into Attenborough village. There are brown signs to the Nature Reserve
